"The" house
500 sqm, large pool, plenty of space for guests, and a really nice pool facing North (we looked strangely at the real estate agent when she presented this as a selling argument, until we realized that South Africa is south of the equator, and facing North means sun most of the day :-)
Househunting
In two days, we looked at 20 houses. Suprisingly Anki and myself agreed pretty quickly on two things:
1) We wanted to stay in Dainfern
2) We selected 4 houses to put on a short list
A few days later we got acceptance for our rental proposal for one of the houses, and they will start to renovate it now (painting).
